I came in last minute asking if they could do my BMW X2 brakes. They were able to accommodate me next day, with an inspection and had parts in stock, to replace them that day. The price was super reasonable, compared if I had gone and done it at the actual BMW service centre, where I know I would have paid an astronomical amount. Plus, the service was outstanding and I feel total peace of mind that I am safe and that it was well done. You better believe I am returning again when I need any servicing for my car! Great Service and reasonable prices. They made sure everything got fixed in order to pass the provincial vehicle inspection. When I accidentally overfilled the oil tank I brought it back and they drained the excess oil I had put in free of charge.
Been here once and wouldn't go back, very disappointing customer service.I was going to leave it at this, but after arrogant and condescending response from them, here is the details. Took my car there for oil change and few minor things, like checking tire pressure, reseting mirrors etc. They claim to have changed oil, but did absolutely nothing else. However, they did "find" other "problems" with car. New tires needed, and conveniently they would sell them to me, windshield fluid container is leaking and needs to be replaced ... lol etc. Took my car to dealership, they confirmed neither of alleged "problems" existed or needed service or replacement. But of course crooks at this place know this. As they post same reply to everyone who gives them negative review. And what a surprise, their solution to wasting people's time and providing bad service is - contact the management, so they can waste more of your time and provide more bad service. Come back, give us a second chance to scam you 🙂

My 25 year old ML320 was suddenly not running smoothly and as efficiently by consuming more gas. I spoke with Elanas at front desk and I found him very kind and honest. The mechanic team examined my car and serviced my transmission at an affordable price. Elanas even explained and copied me the pictures of the work that needed to be done before proceeding. As a woman, I’m usually cautious when I have to have my car fixed and I’m truly pleased with the honesty and outstanding service I received at this shop. Thank you Elanas and your team!
So, I feel like it’s a safe bet that most auto owners have had to make that unenviable journey across a range of bad experiences to finally find that shop that hits the sweet spot.That elusive, unicorn blend of competency, honesty, and fair pricing, that makes you feel like you won a lottery ticket away from the otherwise and historically nightmarish results of having to waste stops along the mistake curve.Well don’t hate me, but immediately upon moving to Vancouver, I got insanely lucky enough to find MinitTune, first stop. My wife and I have been taking our car to Minit in Kits for upwards of a decade and the common theme in our dealings with them boils down to one word: honesty. Never once have we ever doubted the legitimacy of their advice and the work on our car. In fact, often times they’ve walked us through the various options based on what we were able to spend at any given time and gave us proper advice about the ramifications of our decisions. In an industry rife with dishonest advice and borderline scamming, Minit Tune stand head and shoulders above the best in terms of honesty, quality of work, efficiency and price point. Take your car here if you ever need mechanic work, end of story.

This location was recommended to me over 10 years ago and I've been bringing my car here ever since - friendly, helpful, great communication and excellent work.
My wife ended up stranded in Vancouver with a bad alternator. Minit-Tune got her car in, diagnosed, and repaired in about 24 hours, while other places were booking about 3-7 days out. They had fair pricing and good communication, but most of all they were able to accommodate us on short notice, and went above and beyond when they ran into some issues.Very thankful for the team here and would definitely recommend them.
Long story short: dishonest and dangerously negligent. They misled me about the type of tires, overcharged me, and refused to take any responsibility.I've been going to Minit-Tune regularly for oil changes and trusted them—big mistake. This year, I asked for a quote on 3PMSF and M+S tires. The assistant manager, Elanas, recommended all-weather tires, saying they cost more than winter tires but would save me money on seasonal changeovers. I agreed, trusting their advice. Later, they sent me quotes for Rovelo RWS-677 ($185.97 each) and Maxxis NP5 ($195.55 each), assuring me these were all-weather tires and even offered to help dispose of my summer tires to save storage space. I didn’t shop around because I trusted them and went with Rovelo. Weeks later, I contacted a few other mechanics and found out that both were actually winter tires, not all-weather. Other shops quoted me $105 for Rovelo and $120 for Maxxis. They didn’t just overcharge me—they sold me something different from what I asked for.When I picked up my car after the installation, I asked the mechanic to confirm that they were all-weather tires. He checked the tire symbols and noticed one was installed in the wrong direction. I wonder what kind of negligence during installation would allow that to happen. They corrected it, and I left.The next day, I planned to drive to Seattle and noticed the car pulling left and right on the highway—it felt unsafe, so I had to turn back around Richmond. I figured it was just new tires and maybe a balance issue. Three weeks later, when I needed to use my car, I found both rear tires completely flat. I called BCAA to reinflate them and went back to Minit-Tune. Their response? They blamed road debris or sharp objects. But on both rear tires at the same time? How likely is that? Then they said the flat tires had been driven on and I had to replace them at my own expense.When I asked about warranty, since most tire shops offer coverage based on time after purchase or mileage, they said they don’t offer any warranty because the issue was due to "human error." I then asked if I could return the front tires, since it had only been three weeks and I had barely driven the car. They told me to speak with the manager on Monday. When I called, they said he was busy and would call me back. He never did.Edit: The manager and owner reached out and resolved the issue. I appreciate their professionalism.
Affordable and lovely people to work with. They were timely and communicative, honest and knowledgeable. Were so quick with solving my flat tire issue, fixing my spare tire, and then did a whole health check and oil change - where they discovered that my radiator cap was faulty. Them catching this is a reflection of their great work, and attention to detail. Will definitely be back.
Nice place! Great people! I needed to replace rear brakes and rotors on Mercedes. Job was done with in good time and price. Peter has a perfect customer skills and mechanics are very professional and helpful. Rick and Dave are awesome!Quite honestly the best service I’ve received in Vancouver. They are always friendly and willing to help you figure out the issue without charging you an arm and a leg. I’ve come by here a couple of times in the past for some minor things and they didn’t even charge me for their time. When is the last time you heard of that? Every business in Vancouver can learn a lesson about customer service from these guys!

Just had an inspection completed on a vehicle we wanted to potentially purchase; we travelled from the Island. The gentleman, Rick, at the counter was exceptional; I use the word gentleman because he truly was. Very friendly and helpful. They performed a thorough inspection, like you would want to receive. Their facilities are very clean and they are even doggo friendly! If you are looking for an honest shop with dedicated friendly staff, definately go here. Was understanding when we couldn't arrive at the predetermined time and let us come by later in the day. Produced a very professional and convenient online quote for the work required, it came a few days after the inspection which was kind of annoying but the professionalism of the actual quote made up for the timing. As did being booked for the work very soon. The actual work remains to be done but we're pleased insofar. Prices are consistent with what we expected and was itemized clearly. They didn't push anything that we didn't ask for.

Appointment was easy, polite and pleasant. Requested oil change and fluid check only on the Maint. pkg advertised.. they still went and checked everything looking for problems...Mark checked me in and when I was ready to leave , asked him how long.....2 hours was the response..staff shortage and long weekend. Three hours later I called and they were waiting for an air filter.....I had another appointment and advised , forget about it , I will pick up the car immediately......Picking up the car, I was told "It is what it is"........ Will not be back......
generally satisfied with the service. Not the cheapest place tho. Got an oil change done half year ago. They told me that my brakes needed to be replaced (and offered me the service for around 800$). In fact they were still good as now, 10.000km later they're still passing the safety check at another shop. Not very honest 🙁 So if they suggest something you better get a second opinion somewhere else!

My first google review I've left and it isn't a good one. I brought my car here for an oil change and after waiting 2 hours, he told me nobody had got to it and to wait 45 more minutes. Unacceptable and struggle to find a reason to return.
Came here to do my routine oil change and inspection after having a great experience here last time. They gave a really great package deal and I opted for the upgrade to synthetic oil because it’s worth it and extends the time before you have to come back. As I was waiting in the office for them to finish up with my vehicle, I heard 5-6 other customers either dropping off or picking up their vehicles and their interactions were all positive. Everyone walked out happy and most were repeat customers, that should tell you something right there. I highly recommend minute tune for all your vehicles needs, the manager and staff were very helpful and accommodating. They are open and upfront about their pricing and there’s no pressure selling or surprise costs at the end. I paid exactly what we agreed upon at the beginning. I really liked their full diagnostics that identified some other potential services I would need in the future and gave me a quote on the cost. I will be booking another appointment very soon to get that work done.

Long story, but you need to read it.I went here to change my front tires on my Lexus, I have a regular mechanic, but he wasn’t available.When I picked up my car, I noticed the drivers side door wasn’t closing properly. I used to be able to use one hand to close the door, now I need both of my hands and a lot of force. I had no issues prior to them taking my car in.About 4-5 days of getting my tires changed, I’ve a “low tire pressure” message pop up, I check my PSI & it’s perfect. The message continues to pop up.3 weeks after this, my navigation screen totally fails. No radio, no backup camera, nothing is working.This could all be a coincidence. However, all of these issues are within 5 weeks of bringing my car to Minit Tune..I’ve never had a single issue with my vehicle, until I gave it to Minit Tune.It could be a coincidence, however, if you notice anything suspicious with your car. Maybe it isn’t a coincidence.I’m leaving this here for those who end up in a similar position.Another note: my partner brought his Charger here, they charged him out of the wazoo to fix it, less than a year later, they need to replace THE SAME part. The owner honoured the ‘mistake’ or whatever you want to call it.
I’ve been impressed with this business for many years, they’re always accommodating, friendly, helpful and fair. I’ve taken my old reliable Honda, my vintage Mercedes, and my new VW there over at least 10 years and they’ve always worked on them quickly and at my convenience. The new manager Dave is excellent, and Dan, Mike and Helmut are stars.
They were thorough with details over the phone and even made sure to have my car ready, when I had to work last minute. Very thankful for that and was able to get it fixed asap which is amazing!
Got recommended Minit-Tune, and called them for urgent potential fix and they listened to the problem M and really kindly worked things out to get me in the same day. Ended up not needing it after support from the service truck, but the advice they offered over the phone was clear and useful, and I will be using them for future repairs

Highly impressed with Dave, the service manager, and Dan, who got me in on a very last minute basis to have my tire diagnosed and repaired. Dave did me one extra and put the fixed tire back on my car. All of this was done in 20 minutes or so. I am going to certainly return for the rest of my car's mechanical needs. Great experience, 10/10 would recommend.

Your advice is highly appreciated, and I have sorted these critical issues out myself and with another repair shop. I don't know where to begin but to say I feel embarrassed/ashamed because I feel like my customer confidentiality has been broken. That is, I don't understand why my private information was released to the public, and I'm not sure if your intended purpose was to make me feel this way.Furthermore, I feel unheard; this is my own fault of course for not listing my reasons on this review. The quality of your service aside, I gave a poor rating because I personally felt like I was overcharged for the service and for the estimate. I found services cheaper elsewhere, but of course I understand that no two mechanic shops are made equal. However, I do think I'm entitled to my own experience, without having the need or obligation to list my reasons. I'm entitled to provide your shop with these 2 stars without having to state my reason and surely without receiving a response that exposes my private 'diagnosis'. I don't think there is any malice in your response for you are doing your best to protect your shop from misinformation. With that being said, I thank you for identifying these problems with my car.
